Physical Layer Anonymous Precoding: The Path to Privacy-Preserving Communications

چکیده

Next-generation systems aim to increase both the speed and responsiveness of wireless communications while supporting compelling applications such as edge-cloud computing, remote health, vehicle-to-infrastructure communications, etc. As these are expected carry confidential personal data, ensuring user privacy becomes a critical issue. In contrast traditional security designs that prevent information from being eavesdropped upon by adversaries, or learned unauthorized parties, in this article we consider mask user's identity during communication, resulting anonymous communications. particular, examine recent interest physical layer (PHY) solutions. This line research departs conventional higher authentication/encryption routing protocols, judiciously manipulates signaling pattern transmitted signals order sender's PHY characteristics. We first discuss concept anonymity at PHY, then illustrate strategy is able unmask analyzing his/her only – is, signalling patterns inherent fading Subsequently, review emerging area precoding preserve high receiver-side signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio for communication. family represents new approach providing introducing dimension privacy-preserving techniques.

Privacy-Preserving Updates to Anonymous Databases

Suppose a medical facility connected with a research institution and the researchers can use the medical details of a patient without knowing the personal details. Thus the research data base used by the researchers must be anonymized (Sanitized). We can consider another problem in the area of census. Individuals give the private information to a trusted party (Census Bureau) and the census bur...

Privacy-Preserving Shortest Path Computation

Navigation is one of the most popular cloud computing services. But in virtually all cloud-based navigation systems, the client must reveal her location and destination to the cloud service provider in order to learn the fastest route. In this work, we present a cryptographic protocol for navigation on city streets that provides privacy for both the client’s location and the service provider’s ...
